Before we begin today's experiment, let's review the lab rules.
开始今天的实验之前，我们先来重申实验室守则。
First, safety glasses must be worn at all times, even if you're only watching.
第一，必须全程佩戴护目镜，哪怕只是旁观实验也不例外。
Second, never mix chemicals unless the instructions tell you to do so.
第二，未经操作指南许可，严禁随意混合化学试剂。
Today we're using a strong acid which can cause serious burns if it touches your skin.
本次实验会用到强酸，一旦接触皮肤会造成严重灼伤。
If any chemical container is knocked over, don't panic.
如果不慎碰倒试剂瓶，不要惊慌。
Tell me immediately and I'll handle the clean-up.
立刻告知我，由我来清理处置。
Also, keep your hair tied back and avoid wearing loose clothes.
另外，长发必须扎起，不要穿着宽松衣物。
We will work in pairs.
大家两人一组开展实验。
One person will handle the tools while the other records the data.
一人操作实验器材，另一人负责记录数据。
Switch roles after every three trials to ensure everyone gets practice.
每完成三次实验操作后互换分工，保证每个人都能动手实操。
Remember: the goal is accurate data, not speed.
记住：实验追求数据精准，而非操作速度。
If you finish early, do not start a new experiment.
如果提前完成本组实验，不许擅自开展新实验。
Instead, clean your workspace thoroughly.
转而把自己的实验操作台彻底打扫干净。
