W: Good morning,Mr. Smith. Have a seat, please!

W：早上好，先生。史密斯。请坐！

M:Thanks a lot.

W:What is your major?

W：你的专业是什么？

M: My major is Business Administration. I am especially interested in Marketing.

M：我的专业是工商管理。我对市场营销特别感兴趣。

W:Have you received any degrees?

W：你获得过任何学位吗？

M:Yes. First，I received my bachelor’s degree in English Literature, and then an MBA degree.

W: Do you feel that you have received good general training?

M:Yes，I have studied in an English training program and a computer training program since I graduated from university. I am currently studying Finance at a training school.

W:Your resume says that you have had one year experience working in a foreign representative office in Shanghai. May I ask why you left?

M: I worked in a foreign rep office for one year. However, I left there two years ago because the work they gave me was rather dull.

W:If you believe you are a good fit for the position, please talk about what kind of personality you think you have.

M:I always approach things very enthusiastically.When begin something, I don't like to leave it half-done.

W: And what are your personal weaknesses?

M: I'm afraid I’m a poor talker.I'm not comfortable talking with the people whom I have just met for the first time.

That is not very good for business, so I have been studying public speaking.

W: It is very difficult for somebody to see one's own weakness. Are you more of a leader or a follower?

M: I don't try to lead people. I'd rather cooperate with everybody and get the job done by working together.

W:You know, most workers are working under great pressure. How about overtime work?

W：你知道，大多数工人都在很大的压力下工作。加班怎么办？

M:Overtime work is very common in companies. I can work overtime if it's necessary,but I don't think we will work overtime every day.

M：加班在公司很普遍。如果有必要我可以加班，但我不认为我们会每天加班。

W: Do you like regular work?

W：你喜欢固定的工作吗？

M: No，I don’t like regular work.I am interested in different projects with new opportunities. But I can do regular work if the company needs me to do so.

M：不，我不喜欢固定的工作。我对有新机会的不同项目感兴趣。但如果公司需要，我可以正常工作。

W:You performed very well,sir! If you have no questions, please go through the contract and sign it.

M: OK. Thank you very much. I have a few questions for you.First,I'd like to know if you offer employees sick leave.

W:Yes, employees can take up to 10 days of sick leave per year. However, in order to get paid, you'll have to bring in a note from the doctor's.

M: Even if I'm only sick for one day?

W:That's correct.

M:That's pretty strict, if you ask me.
